Carl Duivenvoorden, District 45 Pathways Chief Ambassador, has announced a call for Pathway Guides.
What’s a Pathways Guide (PG)? PGs are tech-savvy Toastmasters who will be helping clubs and members get started in Toastmasters’ exciting new Pathways educational program when it rolls out in our District next year. PGs will be responsible for:
- Conducting visits to their assigned clubs to demonstrate, in real time with an internet connection, how Pathways works
- Helping members log on to Pathways for the first time and showing them how to get started
- Providing ongoing support to club VPs of Education and members for a period of at least six months
True, it’s a bit of work – but it comes with a very significant reward: after fulfilling their duties, Pathways Guides will receive one year of district leader service credit – that’s one of the more challenging requirements for achieving the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation.
